What KKOOK is
KKOOK (꼬옥 — “must”) turns the things foreigners tend to miss in Korea — tax refunds before you fly, transit cards, visa and pension deadlines — into a checklist timed to your dates. Tell it whether you are visiting or living here and when, and it shows what to do, when, and where.
What it is not
KKOOK is not a government service and is not affiliated with any Korean agency. It never decides your eligibility; every item links to the official site where the rule is published so you can confirm it yourself. Rules change — the app shows when each item was last verified.
Sources
Every item names its source. We use only official publications: the Korea Customs Service (tax refunds), the Korea Tourism Organization, the Korea Immigration Service / Hi Korea (visas and stays), the National Pension Service (lump-sum refunds), the National Tax Service (year-end settlement) and the National Health Insurance Service. Partner links, when they appear, are marked.
Privacy
Everything you enter — your dates and the optional details under “My details” — stays on your device. There is no account and no user database. See the privacy page.
Who runs it
KKOOK is made by the team behind 지원금모야 (jiwonmoya.com), a Korean benefits checklist app, and the Korea Starter Kit guides at koreastarterkit.com. Questions and corrections: use the contact link on koreastarterkit.com.
